This is a class project that my partner Amanda Junk and I worked on for an entire semester.
The class was a magazine design class, where we developed and created our own magazine.
We also created most of the content for it. Amanda and I decided to go with a smaller format
for our younger, on-the-go audience. See the billboard pdf above for more of a description of
our thoughts behind the project.
Amanda and I also took this magazine on as our senior thesis. We spent a semester
researching magazine business plans and talking with professionals about what works /
doesn't work. We developed our own media guide and business prospectus for the magazine,
which you can find a link to above. It's a totally different idea for a magazine product. There's
definitely more to figure out (especially number-crunching-wise) if it were to really be put into
action, but what we came up with is, what we feel, a pretty decent start.
